COURSE DESCRIPTION:
For the beginning and Intermediate students, this course is designed to develop knowledge of the following areas.
Introducing Classical and Folkloric dances from the Near and Middle East.
Classical Egyptian Folkloric dances that you will get a taste of: Beledy, Saidi, Fellahin, Khalleegi, Debke and Persian. If time permits, I few more.
Introduction of Middle Eastern rhythms: Beledy, Saidi, Ayoub, Chiftitelli, Masmoudi kabir and Khalleegi.
Introduction of Veil and Finger cymbals.
For the intermediate students: A taste of Choreography and much more!

Saturday- Belly dancing for Pregnancy specialty class
Sohaila teaches once every other month at the Birthing Education Center.
This is a fun class for those that are pregnant from 1 week to 9 months! No need to feel like you can't dance right before childbirth, you can! Belly dance moves can enhance your pregnancy and your child birth. |
