Xerox Reorganizing?
I'm hearing a lot of noise around some shifting at Xerox.
Several people have emailed me about fairly senior GIS executives who have been recently let go.
Could Xerox be getting ready to bring GIS directly under the Xerox roof, rather than letting it run autonomously as it has since they acquired them?
No one likes to see layoffs. But, Xerox isn't competitive in their current form and sometimes drastic measures need to be taken to turn around a big ship like that.
In any case, the new powers at Xerox certainly appear to be ready to challenge the old way of thinking.
