Dear Friend

The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) recognizes that we are navigating extraordinary circumstances which brings much uncertainty and upset.

Our thoughts go out to the people who have been directly affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as healthcare and other frontline staff combatting the virus and helping keep communities safe.

Like all other organisations, IAGR is grappling with the challenge of responding to this extraordinary event. As I am sure you can appreciate, addressing how our annual conference - IAGR 2020 Boston - may be affected is a priority for the Board of Trustees.

I assure you that we are carefully monitoring global and in-country developments, and speaking with key stakeholders to best understand dynamic events and the real and potential impact on our regulatory and industry community. While we do this, we are cautiously moving forward with planning for the conference and will take a prudent and precautionary approach as we monitor developments to ensure we prioritise the safety and well-being of our membership and industry stakeholders.

While we are hopeful that global conditions will permit the conference to go ahead as scheduled from 20 - 25 September 2020, Trustees will continue to monitor developments and consider potential alternative arrangements in consultation with key stakeholders.

Thank you to everyone who made a submission to speak at #IAGR2020 Boston and while we are experiencing a short delay to our announcement, and thank you for your patience, we anticipate being able to publish successful speakers shortly.

As always please feel free to contact us at media@iagr.org if you have any questions, to alert us to any important research that is underway, or if you are in a position to contribute an item to our eNews newsletters.

Take care of yourself and stay safe
