Subject: Nurse Entrepreneurs in the News ~ Last Chance for Best Savings!

President's Corner
June 1, 2021
Dear Nurses,

Vying for Nurses, Hospitals Go Big with Sign On Bonuses was a recent headline in Becker's Hospital Review. For example, Piedmont in Atlanta is offering nurses up to $30,000 in sign-on bonuses. The CEO of the Georgia Nurses Association is saying that the state’s need for nurses is the worst they’ve ever seen. At the same time, Altarum’s Health Sector Indicators briefs, that analyze the most recent data available on health sector spending and employment, reports that hospital employment is down overall, losing 37,000 jobs in April. The only growth area is in ambulatory care. It is confusing. One thing no one is confused about is the increasing level of burnout and dissatisfaction among nurses.

So many nurses today are choosing the entrepreneur path to converge with their nursing career. One of the best ways to achieve success in entrepreneurship is to attend the National Nurses in Business Association’s Conference. The presentations will motivate you, inspire you, and equip you for a new chapter in your life.
