THIS WEEK: What's Wrong With the World? | John 18:33-37
NEW Live IT Episode and Gathering Guide
What's Wrong with the World?

The Times invited essays on the above question. One reply, from the pen of G.K. Chesterton, distinguished itself from all others: "I am."

The tragic events in France punctuate the ultimate battle. In our own hearts. It spills into our marriages. Families. Parishes. World.

The simple truth: There's nothing we can do to impact the world around us that surpasses God impacting the world within us.

The big question: Are we allowing Him?

If your spiritual life was a portrait, would it be a connect-the-dot, merely revealing one spiritual moment after another? Or would it be filled, rich, flush with color, imbuing your ordinary life?

The greatest measure of whether or not we're being impacted is what takes place in our ordinary lives, particularly our homes.

God desires this. Transformation here is at the heart of transformation everywhere else. The Holy Communion we receive is only proclaimed by a Holy Community we live. Are we giving Him the opportunity?

We're looking for kindling.  A raging fire is ignited by a spark, and that must be set to kindling. In response to God's call to Live IT, we're looking for kindling. That is, people like you who might be prayerfully engaged for more than a moment. We're looking for those eager to take God at His word, eager to give Him the opportunity to color in the connect-the-dots.

Be the kindling that will spread. Experience the love of God alive in your relationships. Beginning November 29, for the seven weeks of Advent and Christmas, commit to the Live IT Challenge. It involves setting aside time weekly as a family or group to talk and pray. So we can be united in our journey together, go there and make the commitment right now by registering (free).

The world needs our testimony.  And one day soon when it is asked, "What's right with the world," the answer will be the same as the one given by God at the Burning Bush: "I am." Accept the Live IT Challenge. It won't just change your world, it will change the world.

KINGDOM BUILDERS.
Our Story is the Real Presence of Jesus Christ transforming real lives.

We sent out "A Final Appeal." Help us make it final. This week we moved up from 53-60% of need. We're particularly grateful for the monthly "Kingdom Builder" contributors who now comprise almost 20% of our budget. Help us give Presence for Christmas. Help us make a difference. Thank you.
