Yup, we sure are! Summer is over, fall is here and 2020 is still throwing haymakers!
Friend, it’s about that time in the United States where we as 300 million Americans exercise our right to vote, tomorrow. Things are a bit crazy this year…I feel like that’s an understatement. Because this election is unlike any we’ve even seen, we are closing our offices for the day to allow any team members to get in their votes but more importantly, we want our folks to be safe.
Aside from the political climate, we wanted to bring positive news your way. A quick update from what’s been happening with us during these unprecedented times. As we step into November we’ve been head down:
Developing two projects, tying up more land in Seattle, growing our property management portfolio with new clients and offering consulting services to small businesses across our great state of Washington. We’ve traveled to Paris for MIPIM's Paris Real Estate Week, met former president Nicolas Sarkozy and even hosted the first two stops on the Believe in Yourself World Book tour! Woa!
The team has also been hard at work developing GardnerGlobal’s 200 year plan. We are almost 12 years in, which leaves us 188 years to go! That puts us at the year 2208. Sound ridiculous? Haha! The thing we understand about wealth is 200 years is young and prepping for the long haul is an integral component to our vision. This strategy doesn't come complete without putting one of the best teams together. We engaged Perkins Coie legal team and investment banking firm Capital Suisse.
I want to personally thank those folks who understand how difficult it is for small businesses. You’ve found ways to support us through contracts and opportunity and we are forever thankful. To our new clients we are delighted to have you on board and part of the Onpoint family.

| | | | | (SBRP) Small Business Resiliency Program! A Private/Public Partnership
We can’t say it enough. There just isn’t enough support for small business owners. We are happy to announce our public/private partnership with the Minority Business Development Agency – Tacoma Business Center.
Together we have teamed up to help small businesses across the entire state of Washington. Onpoint Real Estate is offering FREE consulting services to small business owners. There is so much information and as well, confusion about what you should be doing as a small business owner through the varying State Covid-19 phases.
Our goal is to make sure we can help our fellow small business owners understand the proper COVID-19 state guidelines particular to their business and help to make sure their windows don’t go dark by helping them with their landlords and commercial leases. Specifically, we have been doing:

We are hosting 2 online presentations where we’ll be giving small business owners the opportunity to tune in and learn more about how they can navigate these COVID-19 waters to ensure they are in state compliance as well as offering commercial lease support through these tough times.

| | | GardnerGlobal Representing the Seattle Region in Paris, France What an incredible week in Paris. Thank you to MIPIM for having me as a guest speaker at this year's 2020 Paris Real Estate Week. Thank you to the Greater Seattle Partners for facilitating this opportunity. I got interviewed by the incomparable and internationally known Courtney Fingar, met and exchanged books with former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and connected with incredible international real estate executives.
It was the first time an in-person conference happened for them since the Covid-19 shut down in March. The MIPIM team did an incredible job ensuring 2,500+ folks safely participated in a week full of top level real estate and economic global leadership.
