- In silico medicine is now in the ECDC Regulation!
The amendments to the file adopted by the European Parliament feature computer modeling & simulation, in silico and digital twins technologies for the first time. 
- HaDEA adopts its 2021 annual work programme and announces funding opportunities
Here are the main funding opportunities and outputs expected for the year 2021 per programme which are of relevance to VPHi members.
- Tools and technologies for a healthy society: funding opportunites
Calls for proposals for supporting activities that are contributing to the expected impacts of destination 5 “Unlocking the full potential of new tools, technologies and digital solutions for a healthy society”.
- WHO/Europe releases report on transparency for pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other health products
Find out the WHO/Europe report, reviewing the transparency measures of markets for medicines, vaccines, and other health products in the WHO European Region.
- BECA Committee discusses the European Health Data Space, including Digital Twins and In Silico
During the 9 September 2021 meeting of the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Beating Cancer (BECA) regarding the European Health Data Space (EHDS), both digital twins and in silico medicine were mentioned by the Commission.
