If
God intended faith to be a private little sanctuary, a hideout from the world, He never would have entered it. God wouldn't have become flesh and blood. He wouldn't have proclaimed the importance of every aspect of our ordinary, temporary human existence as the basis for our eternal relationship with Him. Christmas would be meaningless.
Here's a hard truth: How we choose to spend our God-given life in this world will determine how we spend life in the next.
We know not the day nor the hour, but our merciful God is warning us. Jesus never spoke of mercy without justice. Mercy without justice is an excuse for sin. It is a path to a place we don't want to go.
This week's Live IT Episode is likely the most controversial ever. We're not
trying to be controversial, but if we're endeavoring to live the real faith in the real world, we will be.
