Hi Friend,
Let's talk about wealth.
Most of us use the word 'wealth" interchangeably with 'money.' And it's true, money is a measure of wealth. But by no means is it the only measure.
You might be interested to read this definition of wealth from the Oxford English Dictionary (which many consider to be THE definitive dictionary of the English language):
Wealth: 1) the state or condition of being happy; prosperous, well-being...; 2) spiritual well-being...; 3) [the definition here is about wealth as material abundance]; 4) [the definition here is about wealth as economic success].
Notice the order here.
Now, let's go back to the 3 secrets for manifesting what you want, that I mentioned in my last message to you: - To have deep desire or passion for something.
- To FOCUS your will on that thing.
- To take concrete ACTION in the direction of achieving your desire.
Specifically, let's look at #1: having the desire or passion for something. The first step in abundance manifestation is to choose what it is you want to manifest. That is your wealth.
It might be money, or something that money can buy. It might an experience, or a state of mind. But whatever it is, I urge you to consider how well that thing will help you achieve the first two definitions of wealth above. Because for someone who has reached the degree of consciousness that I believe you have, if your goal isn't aligned with your spiritual well-being and happiness, it's probably not going to be compelling enough for you to stick with the program long enough to make it happen. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's not OK to want money and nice things. I'm just asking you to differentiate between what you want, and why you want it. For example, my husband and I recently traded in all three of our old vehicles for new, or near-new ones. (He needs a truck for work and we have two kids of driving age who attend school in a nearby town, which is why we need three.) The old ones still ran. The two cars actually still got fabulous gas mileage. We probably could have eked out another year or two out of each. In fact, I was worried about replacing all of them at once. We had owned all of our vehicles outright for years, so this represented a significant increase in monthly expenses. But all the vehicles had gotten so run down (we're talking, the truck had a windshield literally held together with duct tape) that just getting into them had become a depressing energetic drain. Plus we lived under a cloud of uncertainty - when would the next breakdown happen? Having reliable vehicles has made a real difference in our lives and we are truly more relaxed as a result. And doubtless that shift in our energy affects everyone we interact with. Interestingly, there always seems to be enough to cover the car payments I'd been worried about. Whatever it is, when you set the intention that this is what you want, be sure to be clear in your mind the deeper benefits of having it, especially the selfless reasons. Then set the intention in your mind: "For the highest good, I ask the universe to help me have or achieve __________." |
