During this Thanksgiving holiday there is so much to be thankful for. In the word ‘Thanksgiving’ are two amazing and powerful words; Thanks and Giving.
Thanks is an expression of gratitude. I am grateful for being able to say thanks to so many for giving me opportunities to live such a wonderful life. To learn, to live, to love.
Giving is a true gift. To give is without expecting anything in return. Giving to others is a great way to cultivate a gracious heart, mind, and soul. When we give, we are more grateful for what we receive in life. We appreciate what it means to give and so we also can understand how meaningful it is for others to give to us.
The best way to give to others is to be grateful for what you've been given. Everyday, I think of things I am grateful for in my life. - I am thankful for having the passion to pursue my dreams and goals.
- I am grateful for all the teachers in my life that kept me going even when I felt like giving up.
- I am thankful for the friends in my life that has given me reason to move forward.
- I am thankful for the students that I’ve taught watching them grow and seeing them flourish and fly.
- I am thankful for caring family around me that love me no matter what.
- And I am truly thankful for sharing what I've learned from others.
