| Something to think about. I see on facebook people who wonder what is the difference in beads, and that they often have trouble with peyote stitch. There are Seed Beads, and Cylinder Beads. (plus alot more which we will look at later) Within the Seed Beads you have Czech and Japanese. In the Japanese there are three main manufactures. Miyuki, Toho and Matsuno. Look below and you can visually see the basic difference. When trying peyote for the first time, cylinders are better to use because they have more surface to surface touching, where as the seed beads are wobbly. Delica's are a cylinder bead. So are Toho Treasures, and Aikos. You can get seeds and cylinders in many sizes. |
