Let Users Hide Columns for Focused, Compact Presentation
Column toggling can be added to a grid to allow a user to choose which columns they want to display, giving them greater control over the presentation of their data.

The settings are saved in their local browser storage, so each user can have their own settings, saved for future sessions.

It can be inherited, so if you want the behavior for all grids, you can add column toggling to your patterns.
