Part-Time Senior Member, Consumer And Commercial Division

Applications are sought from qualified persons for appointment as part-time Senior Members, Consumer and Commercial Division, under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013.

Applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged.

Applicants for the position of part-time Senior Member must be either current or former judicial officers or Australian lawyers of at least seven years’ standing.

Members assigned to the Division are required to travel throughout NSW.

Part-Time Senior Member, Guardianship Division

Applications are sought from qualified persons for appointment as part-time Senior Member (Legal and Professional), Guardianship Division, under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013.

Applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged.

Applicants for the position of part-time Senior Member (Legal) must be either current or former judicial officers or Australian lawyers of at least seven years’ standing.

Applicants for the position of part-time Senior Member (Professional) must have a relevant professional qualification (such as a medical practitioner, psychologist or social worker) and have special knowledge, skill or expertise in assessing or treating persons to whom the Guardianship Act 1987 relates.

Members assigned to the Guardianship Division are required to travel throughout NSW.

Applications are sought from qualified persons for appointment as part-time General (Community) Members, Guardianship Division, under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013.

Applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged.

Applicants for the position of part-time General Member (Community) must have a community based qualification such that they have experience with persons to whom the Guardianship Act 1987 relates such as people with dementia, mental illness, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, stroke, eating disorders and other cognitive impairments.

Members assigned to the Guardianship Division are required to travel throughout NSW.
