The Buzz
When talking with nurse business owners and those nurses that are aspiring to start a business, you can hear their energy and enthusiasm; it’s contagious! This is the kind of thing we want to spread around, especially with the latest statistics out of the National Institute of Health that up to 40% of nurses are dissatisfied in their careers and experiencing burnout.

In a recent interview by SixFigureNurse, Jamie Davis, RN, NRP, B.A. and host of The Nursing Show recommended the National Nurses in Business Association as one of the five most important resources for a nurse who wants to start their own business. I want to personally thank Jamie for helping us get the word out to nurses that the NNBA is a rich network and has multiple resources that support nurses in starting, growing and managing their own business.
Interesting news; The Joint Commission rescinded a 5-year ban on the texting of orders. Effective immediately, the Joint Commission has revised its position on the transmission of orders for care, treatment, and services via text messaging.  You can read about it at: http://www.medscape.com/.

If you have worked with a Videographer that you can recommend, please email me here with that person’s information. Thank you!
