Welcome to my weekly newsletter! I am going to start each one with something I like to call the Energetic Forecast. It's like a weather report for the soul. And the theme this week is Self Love.

Astrologically we are in times of immense change and spiritual growth with 6 planets moving into Pisces, peaking on the 19th of February. We have major changes coming for everyone around mid-March with another major astrological aspect. I can't tell you how many of my clients are welcoming the influx of the NEW, which is preceded by a breakdown of the old. You gotta have breakdown for breakthrough sometimes! The effect is to bring you more into alignment with your higher self, your soul's purpose, and to strengthen you to reach your highest potential. Expect major clear outs of what no longer serves you to make space for what does serve you. Now is the time to receive intuitive insights through meditation and other spiritual practices.

I did my first webinar, Real Talk:Practical Self Love, on Valentine's Day. This webinar will be available on my website soon for purchase so look for that. How does the current energy support us learning how to love ourselves? It asks us to align with our Soul and Higher Self and breaks down what is not in alignment with that. So how do we become aligned with our Soul? I mentioned 4 specific concepts in the webinar: Nurture your connection to Source, Listen to your Intuition, Know your purpose, and Be your highest vibration.

Client story: I once read for an 18 year old who was still in high school but making a kick ass living working for a major company and earning $70,000/year. Of course his parents were very proud and this man knew what he was capable of. Yet, I kept receiving the guidance that he was going to be an auto mechanic. So I told him that, and it felt to me like even though there is no logical reason for him to give up his job, he would be happier making less money and doing what he loved. He agreed that he would stay at his job temporarily, save up the money he made, and then go into business for himself as an auto mechanic. The message was--no matter what anyone tells you (even a psychic!), you have to follow your heart and your purpose in life. Part of his lesson is to do just that. ;)

To increase your intuition, meditate! Intuition is usually a subtle thing. If you are able to go within and quiet your ego mind, even for 5 minutes a day, you will find yourself becoming naturally more in tune with your higher self. It is also a self loving act. Meditation has so many benefits for every level of your being it's ridiculous!

Empower.

Self love is about self care. I used the analogy of the cup in my webinar. You can't serve water from an empty cup. But if your cup is full of water, you have something to give to others. Don't let anyone tell you you are being selfish by taking care of your own needs. Empower yourself to empower others. That's the way it works ;)

Awaken.

Always remember there are two parts to the Self in Self Love. There is your ego and personality self, and your Higher Self/Soul. Open up to realize that you are always connected to Source energy, to your Higher Self, to those who are with you in Spirit. Awaken to your essence as a being of love. Love has the power to transform everything it touches.

Soul Connections and Self Love

Soul connections such as twin flames, soul mates, and karmic soul mates will often come with self-love lessons. They are so compelling and hard to deny or run away from because they are there to teach you something. If it is self love, there are common themes with soul connections. For example, perhaps through your love for your soul mate, you realize that you are not in a loving marriage or other relationship. Your soul mate may treat you with a love and respect that doesn't exist in your current relationship. So the lesson there may not be that you are to be in a relationship with your soul mate, but you are to do the most loving and honest thing for yourself and no longer be in an abusive partnership.

Another example. Your soul connection may reject you for reasons that have nothing to do with you, as a way of triggering and helping you to clear abandonment or rejection issues. This is a way for you to learn how to love yourself on a much deeper level.
