2019 NGLA Annual Conference by the Numbers
We had a terrific time and turnout in Hartford for the 2019 NGLA Annual Conference.
We hope to see you next year in Baltimore from February 27 – March 1, 2020 to celebrate our 20th anniversary!

Post Conference Blues?
It’s been a month since the NGLA Annual Conference. You left the conference full of energy and ideas to implement on campus. Upon returning, excitement faded as you resumed your routine. What do you do now?

It’s not too late to complete Our Path Home. Our Path Home is a series of self-guided activities to help campus delegations transfer what they learned during the conference into practice back on campus. Activities can be used à la carte in any order, but will work best as a whole in the order presented.

Now, all your delegates need is the Our Path Home Worksheet and a writing utensil to get started!

Congratulations, NGLA Award Winners!
Each year at the Annual Conference, the Northeast Greek Leadership Association recognizes fraternity and sorority chapters, councils, communities, and individuals for their outstanding accomplishments over the past year. Through innovative initiatives and commitment to the fraternal movement, everyone recognized has helped advance the mission of NGLA.

Congratulations, NGLA award winners!

Thank You, Silent Auction Donors and Participants!
Our donors offered over 50 items ranging from clothing to educational programming. Together, we raised over $6,000! All proceeds go toward giving students the opportunity to participate in our strong and vibrant leadership opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2019 Silent Auction a success!

Apply for an Innovation Grant
NGLA offers an Innovation Grant for fraternity and sorority communities to come together to creatively and collaboratively solve problems and challenges. The purpose of the Innovation Grant is to provide campuses or organizations with the resources to employ creative new approaches to problems or issues faced within your community and whose solution may also benefit other fraternal communities in the Northeast. The committee is looking for proposals that make an impact on those students who participate.
The grant eligibility criteria and application form are located on the NGLA Innovation Grant webpage. NGLA looks forward to supporting your innovative ideas that strengthen your community and further NGLA’s mission to “educate leaders from a variety of fraternal experiences to transform and empower their community and align actions with values.”
Volunteer of the Month: Avery Moses
This month, we would like to recognize the work of our Registration Chair, Avery Moses. If you stopped by the registration table, you probably saw Avery. Avery was our point person for registration on-site and without her assistance, our conference would not have been possible. We appreciate the work Avery was able to accomplish in such a short time from getting our attendees checked in to getting our registrants seated with their national organizations at the Affiliation Luncheon. She is truly a key player on the conference team. Thank you, Avery!
