Subject: ♡ Experience the Omnipresent in the form of the Elephant God

Sri Ganesha Chaturthi
Celebrate on September 5, 2016
 Vakratunda mahaakaaya suryakoti samaprabhaa
Nirvighnam kurumedeva sarvakaaryeshu sarvadaa

Salutations to the supreme Lord Ganesh, whose curved trunk (vakra-tunda) and massive body (maha-kaayaa) shines like a million suns (surya-koti) and showers his blessings on everyone (sama-prabhaa). Oh my lord of lords Ganesh (kurume-deva), kindly remove all obstacles (nir-vighnam), always (sarva-) and forever (sarvadaa-) from all my activities and endeavors (sarva-kaaryeshu).
Sri Ganesha is the embodiment of the all-pervading universal energy.
Worshiping Sri Ganesha on this auspicious day will remove all obstacles and bestow the devotee with happiness and prosperity.

Ganesha or Vighneshwara is the Lord of Obstacles of material and spiritual order and His dharma is to remove obstacles and to place obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked. He could be considered as the most endearing form of all Hindu deities and His birthday; Ganesha Chaturthi, which falls on the fourth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada, is celebrated with great devotion and delight.

A Special Sri Ganesha Chaturthi Nakshatra Homa will be performed at Amma's Penusila Ashram in India on Monday, September 5. Devotees are encouraged to take full advantage of sponsoring this homa to receive abundant blessings of Sri Ganesha!

Sri Ganesha's powerful energy easily overcomes all obstacles caused by planetary difficulties. This special nakshatra homa is beneficial to overcome any defects caused by your nakshatra (birth star). Sri Ganesha's divine blessings will be showered upon you to protect you from any bad luck and remove all obstructions from your path. Enjoy new hope, abundant energy and an inspired enthusiasm for life when you participate. Sponsors of this auspicious day will be blessed with the sacred recitation of mantras on the sponsors names before each sponsored ceremony. After completion of the ceremony, the holy prasadam will be mailed to each sponsor.

Sponsorship will close at 11:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 4

Let us keep the deep symbolism of Divinity in mind as we experience the omnipresent in the form of the elephant God,
yet be fully aware that Ganesha is very much within us.
This is the wisdom we should carry as we celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi.
