NYCxDESIGN is happening and New York is bustling with design events in every borough. With so many great opportunities to celebrate all things design, it's nearly impossible to do it all! If it's a summery outdoor screening you're looking for, come join us on Thursday, May 16th for the film The Human Shelter at the Industry City Design Festival by WantedDesign
The Human Shelter
2018 / 59 min / Denmark

Join us for the the New York premiere of Boris Bertram’s latest film, The Human Shelter, an epic, poetic journey investigating how we, as human beings, design and build our homes. The film explores the concept of the "home" and how humans express themselves creatively within that sacred space, whether it’s a lagoon settlement in Lagos, a refugee camp in Iraq or a six square-meter dwelling in Tokyo.

Before the film, please join ADFF Festival Director, Kyle Bergman, in conversation with the film’s director, Boris Bertram and Nils Larsson, Creative Leader of Strategy & Design at IKEA of Sweden.
