New Trade Passport Website Launch & Giveaway

The National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) in collaboration with the Wisconsin SBDC Network and trade organizations based in 29 additional US states has launched the new Trade Passport website providing Export Assistance On-Demand: https://www.trade-passport.org/

The website includes an impressive webinar library which is updated regularly by NASBITE covering the following trade topics: Export Fundamentals, Importing, Market Entry & Management, Operations & Supply Chain, Regulatory Compliance, Software/Internet Tools and Trade Finance. 

With help from the CARES Act, the Wisconsin SBDC Network will be providing 10 individuals with unlimited access to the Trade Passport website for one year. To qualify, your company must have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in negative export growth in 2020. MWEP Announces Virtual ExporTech Training 

Helping Grow Your Business Through Exporting

NEW PROGRAM STARTING IN FEBRUARY 2021

ExporTech™ is a 12 week virtual program with group and customized personal coaching between sessions.

Group Sessions 1: Week of February 1st – Monday-Friday 1:00 – 3:30 pm
Group Sessions 2: Week March 8th – Monday-Friday 1:00 – 3:30 pm
Group Sessions 3: Week April 26th – Monday – Friday 1:00 – 3:30 pm

Scholarship applications are being accepted. The cost for ExporTech is $ 7,500 per company pricing for up to 3 executive leaders (CEO/President, CFO/Controller, Exec Sales), with an immediate $ 3,000 scholarship from WEDC; bringing the out-of-pocket down to $ 4,500.

2020 ENERGY INNOVATION GRANTS 

We would like to make you aware of an exciting grant opportunity for manufacturers. The PSC has made available the Energy Innovation Grant Program to help manufacturers who are planning to deploy technology to reduce their energy consumption, invest in renewable energy related initiatives or bolster their preparedness and resiliency in energy systems. The application deadline is January 2021.

Chad joined the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network in January 2020 to develop and implement a state-wide initiative to identify and engage with new and experienced exporters throughout the state to assist them in the pursuit of growth opportunities in international markets. The primary goal of the Go Global Initiative is to facilitate engagement between Wisconsin companies and the many local, state and federal trade resources identified using an Export Assessment tool.
