Subject: The New Celestron Starsense AutoAlign Device Update.......

Hello Friend,

Well, by now most of you know have heard  about this  gamechanging  accessory from Celestron.

If not, in a nutshell the Celestron Starsense autoalign Device changes your computerized Celestron
into an automatic self-aligning telescope.

Gone are the days of the "two star alignment" or trying to second guess if you were pointing at the correct
star or not...........

Best of all, it works on the majority of  past and present Celestron computerized models, with very few exceptions!

The Star Sense accessory was scheduled to ship at the end of  July, however Celestron engineers have determined
it is not quite ready, and some final fine tuning and tweaking is neccessary.

While we know that folks are anxious to get their hands on this accessory,  Celestron wants to ensure the product
works 100% when they ship it.

Unlike some other companies, who let you be the beta tester for their products  then fix the problem afterwards
(and no, I didn't mention Microsoft®), they want to ensure it's working properly out the door.

The revised ship date is Mid-August 2013.

If you presently have one on order, we will be contacting you as soon as we receive them.

And if you don't, then you might want to get on the list now, as demand is going to exceed supply,
that is one thing we are certain of. Give us a call at 1 800 580 7160 or local 416 783 4140 or

Clear Skies,

PS Below is more information on the Celestron Starsense.

Now using a telescope has become even easier!

Before Celestron StarSense AutoAlign, using a computerized telescope required a lengthy alignment process of finding and centering at least two bright stars in the telescope's eyepiece. But StarSense automatically aligns itself with no user input needed. With this one-of-a-kind accessory, you become an instant astronomer - even if you've never used a telescope before! StarSense is not only compatible with all of Celestron's current computerized telescope models, but backwards compatible with many older models as well.

The Celestron StarSense AutoAlign includes a small digital camera that attaches to the telescope's optical tube, along with a specialized hand controller. Just set up the accessory, push the Align button on the hand controller, and StarSense starts capturing and comparing images of the night sky against its internal database of 40,000 celestial objects. In about three minutes, StarSense will gather enough information to triangulate its position and align itself!
