When J. F. Ahern Co. first began in 1880, it was in a simple storefront on Main Street.
Inside the business — which offered sanitary plumbing as well as hot water and steam heating — plumbing fixtures sat on shelves, and on the floor were claw-foot tubs and toilets for customers to peruse. On the windows in bold lettering were the words "D. Ahern & Son."
Now, 140 years later, the company has expanded its reach far beyond....
