Wisconsin businesses continue to demonstrate resilience during the pandemic as 41 percent of respondents to a University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh statewide economic survey indicate they have introduced or expanded online services over the last three months.

Wisconsin unemployment falls to 12% in May

Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped from 13.6% in April to 12% in May, a “nice surprise” that reflects just the very beginning of the state’s reopening after the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the governor’s stay-at-home order.

Applications close June 23 for $75 million We’re All In Small Business Grants

With the application deadline just days away, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) today announced that more than 16,000 businesses have already applied for the $75 million We’re All In Small Business Grant (WSBG) Program. The online application will be open until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23.
