Each year, the festival draws a wonderful mix of Old School
and the hottest contemporary R & B music performers to its stage.

QLZ Productions, LLP will provide tickets and accommodations for the annual, Cincinnati Music Festival (www.qlzproductions.com), to be held on Thursday, July 26th Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at Paul Brown Stadium in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cincinnati Music Festival is one of the nation’s most highly anticipated three-day R&B music festivals, attracting local and regional guests from across the Midwest. Each year, the festival draws a wonderful mix of Old School and the hottest contemporary R & B music performers to its stage.

 

The first day of the festival begins at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 26th with the following line-up:

  • MC Lyte – a rapper who became the first solo female rapper to release a full album, considered one of hip-hop’s pioneer feminists.
  • DJ Jazzy Jeff – a record producer, DJ, actor and comedian best known for his friendship and collaboration with Will Smith
  • Fashion Show by Shingo – Shingo Fashion is a women’s clothing line born in Cincinnati, but stays true to its African inspired roots
  • DJ Vader – One of Cincinnati’s foremost DJs

The second day of the festival begins at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, July 27th with the following line-up:

  • Charlie Wilson – also known as Uncle Charlie, is a musician, singer, songwriter, producer and former lead vocalist of The Gap Band
  • Xscap3 – a female R&B, vocal trio from Atlanta, Georgia
  • Boyz II Men – a R&B vocal group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies
  • Fantasia – American Idol winner, R&B singer, songwriter, and actress.
  • After 7 – an R&B group founded in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, and Keith Mitchell.

The third day of the festival begins at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 28th with the following line-up:

  • Jill Scott – a Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, model, poet and actress
  • The Roots – a jazzy, eclectic hip-hop band
  • Common – a hip hop recording artist, actor, poet, and film producer
  • Keith Sweat – an R&B and soul, singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, radio personality, and an early figure in new jack swing
  • The O’Jays – an R&B group from Canton, Ohio
  • Bootsy Collins – Cincinnati’s own funk musician and singer-songwriter
