Doesn't it seem that when winter comes, things get harder. It seems like we have more time to think, reflect and look at where our lives are. If we have been praying for something year after year and there is still no change, we wonder will this ever end? God, do you really hear me?
Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV) says, " Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us".
What greater thing, then to know that God gives us the Hope to continue on and that we STAND and wait for the answer, the change, and the miracle that we need!
So press in and stand on Galatians 6:9 (NKJV), "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we DO NOT LOSE HEART". |
