Roger Nelson, founder of the Global Consciousness
Project (GCP), which provided scientific validation and a theoretical framework
for our many global consciousness events over the last 20 years, has written a
book called “Connected: The Emergence of Global Consciousness.”
I strongly recommend you read it
Roger covers the GCP in depth,
including its history and sources, descriptions of technology and examples of
results. He gives technical and analytical detail, as well as interpretation
and implications of the results. He addresses the subject through science, art,
and poetry.
Of course, many of Common Passion friends
participated in the events that became part of the analysis and body of work
Roger describes. It is encouraging to read the history, results, and implications
as we navigate, witness, and help evolve the global consciousness…the “Noosphere,”
according to Teilhard de Chardin.
The Noosphere was Roger’s primary inspiration
for the GCP, and mine as well, in the founding of Common Passion and its predecessor
in 1998, www.InfinityAffinity.org.
