Marinette Marine's latest U.S. Navy littoral combat ship will carry city's name

The littoral combat ship they produced, the USS Freedom, marked the start of a program that will see at least 13 ships built in Marinette. And while that first one was unique, the U.S. Navy found a way to make the most recent one, started Wednesday, special, too.
