Greetings and welcome to the 2018/2019 Children, Youth and Family Worship school year. Though the info below may not pertain to you, I wanted to let all know the great things that will be happening here.
I would like to thank you in advance for your patience in this time of transition. Change can be scary. I have some new and exciting changes planned for the upcoming year and am also open to any ideas you may have as well.
I would like to invite all children and youth to our first Sunday School and Children’s Church of the 2018/2019 year this Sunday, August, 12. We are learning in conjunction with the three part series sermon, “It’s Academic.” We will kick start back to school with “It Starts with You!” (Ephesians 4:25-5:2)
Children’s Night Ministry, kindergarten through fifth grade, starts back up this Sunday, August 12 at 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. All children are invited to partake in Children’s Choir which starts at 5:00. If your child wants to attend Children’s Night Ministry but does not want to partake in Choir we will have an activity ready, but participation is strongly encouraged. Bible lesson will start after choir children return. We will be exploring “Jesus Joins His Family.”(Luke 2: 1-7)
Youth Parents, I am looking to start Youth Group Nights, sixth grade through twelfth grade, Sundays following Children’s Night Ministry from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Our first night will be August 26, 2018 in the Youth Building. We will be asking "How To Talk To God.” (Mark 2:17) and (Luke 11: 1-4)
All Families, once we have started school and our children get set with their new schedules, I would like to meet monthly. Let’s call this the 3F Club, Family Fellowship on Friday. First meeting scheduled for September 14, 2018. We will come together over a potluck dinner followed by ice breaker family games and finishing with a family bible study, “Family Matters.” (Proverbs 22:6) Families that would be interested in this event please contact me.
