HOLIDAY ISSUE
Wishing Everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday
   A Merry Christmas to all celebrating next week. Enjoy the break and relish the time spent with family and friends. Many of the undergrads are spending this week in Colorado at the Keystone Ski Resort as part of Northwestern Ski Trip. They are adjusting to the new house as the Housing Corporation and Chapter work together to make 2313 Sheridan the best fraternity structure on campus.

For those wishing to donate to the Housing Fund to pay for upgrades and rec room items please email Paul Huettner ('09) at pikegammarhoalumni@gmail.com to arrange for an online or check donation. All donations are tax deductible and count as an NU donation as well.

Spots will be opening up in 2014 on the Housing Corporation board. If you're interest in joining as a director or other leadership role contact Paul as well. Those not interested in serving on the board but still want to be involve can become a voting member with a donation of $100 annually or a cumulative $500 lifetime.
In Memory of John Jones

It is with great sadness to hear that one of Gamma Rho's greatest members has passed away and will join his brothers in Chapter Eternal. John Jones ('47) was a lifelong supporter of Gamma Rho as well as the Fraternity as a whole serving in countless leadership roles over the years. He served as Chairman of the Glenview State Bank and Cummins Allison and was very involved with the village of Glenview and numerous charitable organizations. A fantastic memorial page highlighting John and his family can be found here. Our deepest condolences go out to John's family and his fellow PIKE brothers that knew him well. John's funeral will be held tomorrow, December 18, at 2pm at Christ Church in Lake Forest. A wake is taking place today at Donnellan Funeral Home in Skokie from 3-8pm.

Alumni Association Dues
Annual dues for the Alumni Association are $30. Dues paying members receive the following benefits:

    - Discounted event prices
    - Free quarterly newsletter mailed to your house
    - Voting privileges
    - Your name listed in the newsletter and website 

Dues are used to pay for general operations including website hosting, newsletter production, planning future events, and annual dues to Memorial Headquarters.
