Oshkosh native Zack Pawlosky launched a venture capital fund firm Atlene this month. He opened the firm in northeast Wisconsin because the area the "economic and growth opportunities."

Community First Champion Complex is on track to open mid-November

After more than a year of construction, the Community First Champion Center in Grand Chute is on track have its grand opening in mid-November.
They anticipate hiring 45 to 55 full and part-time staff members for the facility. Original estimates from the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau say there will be an economic impact of $8.9 million in the first year.

Inspire Sheboygan County is a statewide leader in student-employer programming, providing students with essential career path development and helping local companies build their future workforce. Two years ago, to boost community impact, Inspire Sheboygan County assumed direction over the Sheboygan Area School District’s Youth Co-op program, which provides students with opportunities to have an exploratory experience in industry settings before committing to a Youth Apprenticeship. Since that time, the program has served over 200 students who now have a clearer vision of a potential career path and has created a talent pipeline for local companies to fill their employment needs.
