It’s a busy and beautiful spring in New York. Film submissions are rolling in every day and there are many amazing new films in process. We can confidently say that our 9th festival, to be showcased in New York from November 1-5, promises to be another fantastic one.

ADFF at Tippet Rise Art Center in Montana
Sept 22-24
We are proud to announce that ADFF:Tippet Rise will take place September 22 through 24 at the Tippet Rise Arts Center in Fishtail, Montana. Tippet Rise hosts classical music performances and exhibits large-scale sculptures on a 10,260-acre working ranch, and believes that art, music, architecture, and nature amplify each other’s voices when in concert. On Friday and Saturday, we will screen 8 feature-length documentaries and 3 shorts, including films on the subject of land art. On Saturday, Frances Anderton, host of KCRW’s DnA, will moderate a conversation with the artist Stephan Talasnick and Tippet Rise co-founder Peter Halstead. Sunday will be dedicated to screenings for architecture & design students from the region. Tippet Rise is one of the country's most important, new cultural destinations and September is a particularly beautiful month to visit the art center, which is nestled along the eastern range of the Beartooth Mountains. ADFF at AIA National Conference
presented by AIA Conference on Architecture 2017
ADFF and AIA presented the I Look Up film series. Twelve films were shown to many of the 13,000 attendees at the conference in Orlando. There were Q&As with special guests including: Alan Rick, Co-founder of MASS Design Group who talked about their film Design That Heals, and Eric Saarinen after the screening of Eero Saarinen: The Architect Who Saw the Future. We look forward to partnering again with AIA next year. Click here for more information about the I Look Up Challenge.
ADFF:TULSA
presented by Tulsa Foundation for Architecture
We just finished out initial year of ADFF:TULSA and had a fantastic opening night celebration and screening of Strange and Familiar: The Architecture of Fogo Island followed by a Q&A with co-director Katherine Knight who came down from Toronto. The next night Paul Goldberger and Jeff Martin (Magic City Books) had a fascinating conversation after the screening of Getting Frank Gehry. The Tulsa Foundation for Architecture is a perfect partner for ADFF with a commitment to their city’s architectural history and bright future. Over 1,350 people attended events and screenings at Tulsa's historic Circle Cinema.
