How to improve the use of your shoulders and stay active is the topic of the first Awareness Through Movement class beginning Friday, June 28. Through gentle movement lessons we explore how unrestricted pain-free use of your shoulders depends on good spinal alignment and core support. Common problems with rotator cuff, overuse injuries, scoliosis, sitting and posture will also be addressed.
The movement lessons are done sitting, lying, standing, and walking. Chairs and mats provided, and the floor is covered in Aikido mats for your comfort. Each class will focus on a different topic, yet all the material is inter-related. Drop-ins welcome. Keep on Movin, Ernie |
