Subject: On the road again--traveling with Stephen and Bob in Serbia

Dear praying friends,
On Wednesday and Thursday (tomorrow and the next day), my son-in-law, Stephen Sell, my team leader, Bob Hitching, and I will be traveling in Serbia. We'd be so grateful if you would remember these prayer requests for us:
1. Pray for safety, please, and no car problems as we will be covering a minimum of 500 miles in two days.
2. We have heard from a pastor in Serbia that their Roma (Gypsy) work is growing too fast and is too big to handle (!), with 17 groups meeting. We praise God for such encouraging news! We would like to encourage him and give to him some of the Bible study, discipleship and children's literature that we have specifically designed for Roma. Pray for wisdom and good cooperation together in ministry.
3. We will be visiting missionary friends along the way. Pray that we can encourage them and give them help in ministry planning.
4. Pray that we can discover which Roma dialects are spoken in various villages, the extent to which they are spoken as the mother tongue (heart language) and what the needs and interests are for translating the Bible for these dialects.
5. Pray for Pamala and the kids back in Budapest while I am away. We have had a lot of sickness in the family. Also, we need to work out details with our landlords about the house we rent, since we will be away for 7 month.
6. Pray for Stephen as he takes it all in, learns about Roma ministry, and plans for his and Elizabeth's future work in this part of the world.
