Paramahansa Yogananda

"Everything the Lord has created is to try us, to bring out the buried soul immortality within us. That is the adventure of life, the one purpose of life. And everyone's adventure is different, unique. you should be prepared to deal with all problems of health, mind, and soul by commonsense methods and faith in God, knowing that in life or death your soul remains unconquered. You can never die. 'No weapon can pierce the soul; no fire can burn it; no water can moisten it; nor can any wind wither it...The soul is immutable, all-permeating, ever calm, and immovable.'* You are eternally the image of Spirit."
*Bhagavad Gita II:23-24

October 2019 -- Fall DFW Lake Texoma Retreat

On October 19th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm we will hold our bi-annual retreat at Lake Texoma, Texas. The details of the day's activities are still being worked on, however, the times of events will be the same as in the past. We will send updated information with a reminder of this event.

Those who have attended this retreat will attest to the divine upliftment that this day provides. Coming together like this will recharge your spiritual battery with long lasting effects. The location and home of Ms. Lynn Meyer has a divine quality which allows one to put aside all mental burdens for a day, and concentrate on the Guru and his teachings.

We have signup sheets in the foyer of our chapel for ride-sharing and food. We do need to have the number of attendees for seating and food. If you can not be at the chapel to sign the sheets please send an email to coordinator@srfdallasfortworth.org so we can add you as an attendee. We would also like to know if you have a preference for gluten free or dairy free food.

More information on the retreat including what to bring, map and directions, can be found on our website here.

If you plan to come from outside our local Dallas Fort Worth area please send your attendance and any food preferences to the above email address.

Guided Meditation Services

Remember: The first Saturday of each month will be a three hour Guided Meditation Service.

Guided Meditations offer a unique opportunity for our members to incorporate the benefits of a long meditation in a group setting which strengthens the vibrations for all participants. Many students find that Guided Meditations inspire them to perform the techniques more faithfully and with deeper concentration. To receive the most benefits of this service one is encouraged to attend all three hours.

Please enter and leave on the hour.

No details of the techniques will be given by the leader. If you wish to get the techniques of meditation as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda you must subscribe to the SRF Lessons.
Chapel 2020 Building Fund
